GF Leak Detection Systems
GF Piping Systems (GF) has announced three leak detection systems. The offerings complement the com- pany's double containment piping systems. Designed for wastewater treatment plants and buried applications, the line includes the 918Q Alarm Box, PAL-AT Continuous Cable System, and Low Point Leak Detection System. For simple, low-cost leak detection requirements, the 918Q Alarm Box handles up to four sensor signals and features audible and visual alarm indicators. Miroprocessor based, the PAL-AT offers multi-sensing and remote monitor- ing of up to four separate sensing zones, each with up to 7,500 feet of sensor cable. The Low Point Leak Detection System uses 12 discrete inputs which allows a leak to be identified at a specific location point in the pipe. www.gfps.com
Armstrong Self-Regulating Variable-Speed Fire Pump
Armstrong Fluid Technology has unveiled its industry-leading, Design Envelope Fire Pump unit along with Fire Pump Manager, a new, connected service for tracking pump performance. In addition to providing important new safety benefits, Armstrong's new Design Envelope Fire Pump holds the distinction of being the first self-reg- ulating variable-speed fire pump to meet NFPA-20 (2019 Edition), Section 4.8 standards. www.armstrongfluidtechnology.com
RBI Torus Boilers with 10:1 Turndown
RBI Torus condensing watertube boilers and water heaters now feature 10:1 turndown, further optimizing perfor- mance efficiency. Torus utilizes a pressure-driven air/fuel mixing system to reliably provide up to 10:1 turndown without the negative effects often seen in high turndown systems. This unique pressure-driven system has no moving parts and eliminates com- mon nuisance failures including ignition lockouts. Torus compact high-performance units are avail- able in sizes ranging from 1250 to 4000 MBH with AHRI Certified efficiencies of up to 97.5% on Boilers and 98% on water heaters. www.rbiwaterheaters.com
Sloan G2 and ECOS Flushometers
Sloan has expanded its existing lineup of connected products to include G2 and ECOS Flushometers. The company's featured faucets and flushometers are uti- lizing Bluetooth connectivity and advanced technol- ogy to enhance maintenance capabilities. Sloan's G2 Flushometer automatically operates by means of an infra- red sensor with a user-friendly, three-second flush delay and Courtesy Flush override button. Additionally, Sloan ECOS Flushometers provide dual-flush or single-flush, hands-free sensor operation. As the flushometer automati- cally initiates a full or reduced flush based on how long the user remains in sensor range, this feature can reduce water volume by up to 30 percent. www.sloan.com
