The Detection Group Inc., a provider of wireless water security solutions and the leader in wireless water leak detection for commercial buildings, has joined the Watts family of brands. Incorporating cutting-edge technology, its Trident Wireless water leak detection system allows for 24/7/365, real-time detection and notification of the precise loca- tion of water leaks in any size or age building-and is the gold standard for water leak detection. The Detection Group (TDG), with headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, currently protects more than 50 million square feet of floor space in well over 400 com- mercial buildings across the United States. Its Trident system was the first, and is the only, wireless leak detec- tion system to obtain coveted FM Approval. Equally important, the technology, reliability, and quality of the system is recognized by building managers, owners, and engineers as best-in-class in the industry. "TDG addresses a key pain point for commercial and multi-family building owners, that being rising insurance costs due to water leaks," said Robert J. Pagano, CEO of Watts. "TDG represents another offering to bundle into cation process deliver a repeatable and reliable method of risk assessment of all piped systems," Ceja said. "This project illustrates a labor/management commit- ment of time and treasure to defend a community from unwelcome waterborne pathogens. We will also be coor- dinating tradeswomen and other diverse stakeholders and tradesworkers in the area, providing the expertise necessary to address any water-quality issues that arise." Pavlich, Benkowski and Ceja will be joined - virtu- ally and in person - by representatives from IWSH and IAPMO Field Services as the nominated group of Texas contractors begins training at HAPJAC. Given the cur- rent COVID-19 pandemic, all activities and individual participations will adhere to applicable health and safety protocols as the project progresses. "Water quality is directly connected to quality of life," said Jed Scheuermann, IWSH North American program director. "IWSH is thrilled to bring together our local Texas partners, including UA Plumbers Local 68 and Texas Women in Trades. They will be trained to the highest standards and equipped to address long-over- looked concerns, thus improving Nome residents' water quality, making it better, cleaner and safer."
